We offer guided backcountry canoe trips in Algonquin Park for families, couples, corporate groups, women, men, and youth. Trips are designed to reconnect you with nature, awaken your body’s natural wisdom, and foster deep connections with your group.

Our trips take place in the North West corner of Algonquin Park. Our basecamp is located on Kawawaymog Lake, near Access Point #1 to the park.

Absolutely. No prior canoeing or wilderness experience is needed. Our guides provide all instruction, support, and guidance to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and enriching adventure for every skill level.

We know how much of a difference quality makes in the backcountry, so rest assured from food to gear you will be taken care of.
Travel: Canoes, paddles, life jackets.
Gear: Tents, tarps, sleeping pads, sleeping bags.
Food: All meals, water purifying system, and cooking equipment. A menu designed to your dietary requests.
Safety Gear: Emergency communication device, compass, bailers, rope, fully stocked first aid kit. All guides are certified as Wilderness First Responders and National Lifeguards.

Trips are booked through an exploration call on our website. A 30% non-refundable deposit secures your dates, with the balance due 90 days before departure.

Day 1: Arrival & Launch
Arrive at Driftwood Paddle’s basecamp, meet your guides, and get oriented.
Paddle into Algonquin’s calm waters, learn canoe basics, and settle into camp.
Dinner by the fire, stargazing, and intention setting with your group.
Day 2: Explore & Connect
Explore hidden bays; watch for wildlife and take in the scenery.
Afternoon beach swim and hammock time by the water.
Evening campfire dinner and campfire conversations
Day 3: Adventure & Discovery
Sunrise moose safari or optional morning yoga/mindfulness practice
Pack up camp and paddle to new location for the night.
Backcountry skill learning and S’mores under the stars.
Day 4: Return & Reflection
Final breakfast and pack up camp.
Paddle back to Kawawaymog Lake, share a meal, celebrate your journey, and say farewell.
