The Wolf Pack
A 5-day inner and outer journey for men.
SHADOW WORK | SOMATICS | PLANT MEDICINE | REWILDING | BROTHERHOOD
October 12th - 16, 2025
Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada
A trip for men who are ready to live deeper.
If life’s been too busy, overwhelming, or you’re just not getting the time you need for yourself…
If you long for deeper connection with good men who work on themselves…
And if you could use some quality time in nature, to slow down and just exist…
Then you’re in the right place.

“Nature is where we connect with our souls, where we see ourselves honestly, with no distractions. Here, we realize our fullest potential.”

A MODERN RITE
OF PASSAGE.
The Wolf Pack is a guided wilderness expedition through Algonquin Park, designed to help men reconnect to themselves, forge bonds, and grow—together.
This is not just a canoe trip. It’s a modern rite of passage.
Led by seasoned facilitators and guides, you’ll paddle, portage, cook, camp, and share stories together in the wild. You’ll learn from the land, from the group and from each other—strengthening your relationship with self, family and nature.
At Driftwood, the canoe trip is just the beginning. What we really offer is space— space to unplug, slow down, and feel alive again.
By guiding you into the wild, we guide you back to yourself and your people. Around the fire, on the lake, under the stars—something shifts.
You remember who you are without the noise.
Maybe screens have kept you distracted from something within.
Maybe back-to-back meetings have left no room for what really matters. Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself, your family, or your purpose. Or maybe you’re simply ready to explore the wild beauty of Canada.
This is more than a change of scenery. It’s a shift in reality.
A chance to step out of your comfort zone, reconnect, and carry home what matters most—letting the rest go.

Paddle in…
Distracted, overworked, and stretched thin
Your soul is tired from not living its truth
You’d like to get to know other guys on a deeper level
You’re ready for some deep healing
Paddle out…
Present, grounded, and open
A deeper understanding of your inner world
You’ve healed something and learned practices to manage your emotions
With memories that will last a lifetime
Your Guided Experience
You don’t need to be an expert camper or paddler. Our team will guide you every step of the way. All gear is provided. This is a fully facilitated experience that blends:
Canoe travel and backcountry camping
Fireside council and sharing circles
Nature-based ceremony
Lots of time for solo reflection
Practical wilderness skills
Guided conversations and practices on manhood, trauma, and healing
Your Guided Psilocybin Mushroom Journey
During the retreat, we will be engaging with psilocybin mushrooms, an intelligent organism that helps us deepen our connection to soul, each other, and nature, offering a chance to process emotions and traumas on a deep level.
You will have the liberty to choose your dose while we will provide all the information, guidance and support you may need to have a transformative and enlightening experience.
We are deeply experienced with these medicines and will share a detailed intake form before the journey to help determine whether this is a good fit for you. Participating in the mushroom journey is optional.
Itinerary Overview
Like nature, the itineray ebbs and flows according to the emerging needs of the group and the conditions of the wilderness.
-
Arrive at the edge of Algonquin’s vast wilderness. After orientation, you and the other guys load into canoes and paddle deep into the backcountry.
The rhythm of the water, the silence of the forest, and the shared effort mark the beginning of your journey together—away from the noise, and towards something unknown.
-
Settle into the wild. With a light day of paddling and portaging, this day invites you to drop into presence.
On this day, we’ll begin to explore our inner narratives - what it is that holds us back in life, and the stories we tell ourselves about it. We’ll also do some team building exercises, creating space for trust and deeper connection to emerge.
All of this helps to ground and prepare you for tomorrow’s mushroom journey. -
This is a day of deepening. During our mushroom journey, we’ll each get a big period of solo time in nature, with access to facilitators as needed.
As evening falls, we gather in ceremony around the fire—marking the threshold of a new self, and a new beginning. Together, we’ll begin to unpack parts of the journey and what we each processed. -
Today’s paddle is longer—an opportunity to rise to the challenge together. Navigate lakes, lift canoes over portage trails, and witness the growth that’s unfolded. You move as a team now. The conversations flow more easily. The wilderness has been quietly working its magic.
This day is typically full of laughter, play, and the feeling of being alive. The body, mind, and soul have each fully arrived into the backcountry.
-
We gather one final time to reflect, honour the journey, and give thanks. As you paddle out of the backcountry, you leave with more than memories—you leave with a renewed sense of who you are as a man and human, and the path that lies ahead.

"Slowing down has been my biggest breakthrough from the retreat with Jack and Chris. I've become very conscious and aware of it and I'm giving myself permission to not try to get everything done in a day."
Steve H.
-
"I came out of the bush with a new outlook on life and clear mind and vision. The bonds I've formed are stronger than anything l've ever known. CK and the folks at Driftwood have a special gift."
Chris Eaton
(After his 3rd trip with us!) -
"CK is an amazing person and his guidance was invaluable. The trip was profound! Offering a rare chance to disconnect from the modern world."
Allan Blackett

A chance to leave
the screen behind.
No phones. No distractions.
Just nature, presence, and real conversation.

About Us
Founded by the Kelly Brothers, world travellers and expert canoe guides - after visiting 50+ countries, they’ve experienced many diverse places and people. As a result, the Kelly brothers see life a little differently.
When asked about their favourite place, they find it challenging to choose just one. But rather, their favourite feeling always came from immersing themselves in a stranger's life, exploring the world through a local lens. They never remained strangers for long, and many have become lifelong friends.
No matter how far they have roamed Algonquin always calls them home.
